Story Telling
Each client consultation begins with a story telling session. Story telling simply involves you telling us your story. At a high level, what is your vision for your online business? What are the key measures of success? What are your long term and short term goals? What are your constraints? Whatever is important to you, we want to know about it as every piece of information will be critical in ensuring that you get exactly what you are looking for. All you have to do is sit back, relax, and tell us your story.

Requirements Gathering
After we understand what you are looking for at a high level, you will fill out another form to enhance the requirements gathering process. This form will allow you to provide detailed requirements per the services and solutions that you are interested in per the general inquiry. This form also asks key, detailed questions that will help us to best determine the requirements necessary to bring your vision to light.
At APT Technologies, we have several requirements gathering forms based upon the type of project you are interested in. For example, if you are interested in a web site, the form you will fill out during this phase will include questions such as: what colors and which features you would like to incorporate in your web site. When you get to this phase in the project, your project manager will provide you with the appropriate form at that time.
Scope Definition
After you have submitted your requirements gathering form, you will be contacted by one of our project managers for a consultation session. In this session, our project manager will present you with a series of packages reflecting upon all the information you have provided us unto this point. You will then be able to select the package that you feel suits you best or you can work with the project manager to create a custom package. At the end of this process, we will have fully identified the scope of your project.
Project Schedule
After we finalize the scope of your project, we will work with you to effectively schedule the effort. This includes a high level schedule which we will share with each client. This high level schedule includes the project commencement date, project launch date, key milestones, constraints, etc. For larger projects, we will utilize a more detailed project schedule [i.e. a project plan] that will also capture our internal efforts. This will include research, design, development, and launch activities.
Statement of Work
After we have defined the project scope and schedule, we will create a Statement of Work. This document represents our legal contract. Besides stating the scope and schedule, this document will also include the cost/payment schedule, our support obligations, and other benefits accredited to you as a member of the APT Technologies family.
